Venice Double Feature re-positions Thomas Mann’s novella Death in Venice - about a turn of the century aging artist's obsession with a young boy on the beaches of Italy - as a lens through which to scrutinize contemporary social media culture, particularly the worship of youth as beauty and the contemporary human preoccupation with voyeurism.

The production is the third in a series of live cinema works that collide filmic, theatrical, and radio play techniques into an art house film both constructed and experienced in real time.

Venice Double Feature is currently being developed as a part of the HERE Artist Residency Program.
