Imaginarium

Imaginarium is a two-level prototype sketch for a new cooperative video game for two players.

A lonely child, seldom visited by parents or friends, aches for companionship. One day, the child imagines finding a key that will open their locked bedroom door and ventures out through an unfamiliar home and into tattered melancholic lands. As they wander about, they discover the power of a great imagination set free.

Game-play is a collaboration between two players: one who controls the child at the console, and the other who acts as the child's imagination, scouring the real world and using a smartphone to photograph and transmit images of real objects which, using Google’s Image Recognition workflow on the backend, unlock puzzles and obstacles throughout the game.
