Architectural 3D Scans & Photogrammetry

New York City Courthouse - 2020

In the summer of 2020, New York City experienced a wave of anti-police sentiment and public displays of protest in response to the rise of law enforcement brutality against People of Color across the United States.

I used photogrammetry workflows to capture, document, and reconstruct sites of protest, including the lower Manhattan courthouse, which became a public canvas for community articulations of grief and outrage.

Eolia Mansion Grounds Survey - 2020

Eolia, built in 1906 and purchased by Edward and Mary Harkness in 1907, is the family’s former summer mansion in Waterford, Connecticut. Set on over 230 acres of seaside land, the Roman Renaissance Classical Revival-style house has 42 rooms and lush gardens which flank both the east and west lawns.

From 1918 to 1929, extensive work was done to the grounds by noted landscape designer Beatrix Jones Farrand, a founder of the American Society of Landscape Architects. The estate was left to the State of Connecticut in 1950 and became part of its Park system in 1952.

I conducted a series of 3D photogrammetry scans of the grounds, and created 3D meshes and point clouds of a variety of statues and features adorning the gardens and exterior facades of the manor.
